Info: This placement is with the world's biggest Surf Association. Working from their HQ in La Jolla you will be in charge of carrying out numerous administrative operations as well as helping out the Headquarters staff. This is our most dynamic placement and is ideal for anyone serious about a career in the Surf Industry.
Your essential responsibilities & duties will include:
- Assisting in the daily operations and procedures of the Surf Association's HQ office, including communication management, database management and other day to day activities to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
- Helping monitor, organise and translate documents.
- Aiding the media management of video and print materials of the Surf Association, as well as marketing efforts on social network systems.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in the administrative, international business, sports and/or events management fields.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of cultures and/or persons.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.
- An ability to speak, read and write Spanish would be preferable.
- Good attention to detail, solid organisational skills, professional communication skills and an ability to problem solve.
