France - Les Landes "The girls-only surf camp"
Info: Experience a totally new and exciting side to the Surf Industry by doing a placement at the first and only British all-girl surf camp to operate in France. Definitely one of our most beautiful locations yet: this eco-friendly camp is nestled in the pine forests of Les Landes, on the south-west coast of France, near the world-class breaks of Hossegor and Seignosse.
As a key member of their awesome team right from your first day you will be in charge of carrying out numerous important administrative operations as well as aiding the daily running of the camp. As the camp is solely for women and therefore must appeal to this market this is set to be one of our most interesting and challenging Surf Internships yet.
Your essential responsibilities and duties will include:
- Assisting in the day to day activities to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that individual requests can be catered for.
- Aiding the media management of video and photographic materials, as well as marketing efforts on social network systems.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in surfing, marketing, sports and/or events management fields.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of cultures and/or persons. An ability to speak conversational French, Spanish or German would be an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.
- Good attention to detail, solid organisational skills, professional communication skills and an ability to problem solve and multi-task.
