Take a break from Peru's relentless waves with this placement, in the heart of Peru's Amazon Rainforest. Accessible only by plane from Lima or by boat from northern Peru (which will take around four days) you can be sure that this will be a truly unforgettable experience.

The first option for Surf Interns is to visit the jungle as a paying tourist. We'd recommend a stay of four-six days (including a day in the city of Iquitos). During this time you'll have a chance to explore the jungle and its waterways, learning the arts of survival (including activities such as spear fishing) as well as the option of visiting a local shaman (practitioner of indigenous traditional medicine).

The other option is to live and work with Nilson. You'll be teaching him English, helping him run his business and accompanying him on his jungle tours.
