When you pay your application fee for Surf Internships you are only paying for a service which puts you in contact with people from the international surf community. Legally speaking we therefore cannot be held legally responsible in any way whatsoever for your overall experience during your placement or your personal safety and that of your belongings.
Refunds:
However, if you are not satisfied with your placement, you must alert Surf Internships immediately. Where possible we will arrange an alternative placement or if that is not possible we will refund you 110% of your application fee.
Unsuccessful applications:
If your application is rejected after your payment has been processed - you will be refunded your payment minus a 20% fee for our administration costs.
Cancellations:
If you cancel your placement with more than 30 days warning you will be entitled to our refund minus the 20% administration costs. Refunds are not available on cancellations when less than 30 days notice is given.
