Peru - Lobitos "Make a difference - through surfing"
Work for a Surf NGO at one of Peru's top surfing destinations.
- Teach or assist in Swimming/Surfing/English/Environmental Education classes and activities.
- Teach, take and compile photos and video as part of a new film / photography program.
- Help coordinate sports activities for the kids during and after school hours.
- Work with the ‘social entrepreneurship’ team to help youth use feasibility studies to
research, evaluate and ultimately implement business ideas.
- Micro-credit program research and pilot program implementation.
All in all a really important cause and a great chance to provide charity work with incredible surf.
* There is no arrangement fee for this placement as WAVES charges a 'program fee'.
